Brick

And what of the bricks Accrington Bloods, Cossey Whites (around Norwich), Reading Greys and Grizzles, Staffordshire Blues, betray colour and place, but bricks also vary in sizes, uses and patterns according to place and time. The bonding colours (mortar) and patterns may be important too. Much has been lost as large companies have swallowed works across the country. Where are the small independent brickworks? Are there any new ones?
